I'd rate the Hotel itself overall 5 stars for the rooms and staff. Very clean and friendly personnel. The downside is the food. Starting with the Medley Buffet. $12.95 for the worst breakfast food I've ever eaten. The scrambled eggs were made from something other than real eggs. The only thing they had in common was yellow color. The potatoes tasted like wet cardboard. Service was extremely slow for coffee /water even though they weren't that busy. Bacon was ok. Sausage had weird consistency and taste. I could not eat my 1st choice plate, so opted for french toast/more bacon on plate#2.
Overall breakfast horrible. Then there's the Farmhouse whose sign says open 24/7.
What they don't mention is the 25 minute wait to get in no matter what time you go. I saw plenty of empty tables, but still a wait. I finally got in on a Monday morning. The food was ok . Very small portions. 2 eggs over easy, 2 pieces of bacon , a half a plate of the horrible potatoes. No sourdough toast. $7.99. Waitress was good. Unfortunately there was no where to get breakfast anywhere close to the hotel. I looked. If someone open up a good breakfast joint, near the hotel, they would clean up. The best place for food and service in this establishment for us was at the Salted Lime. Outstanding service from the staff and happy hour prices all day.
