  • My sole purpose to come to Paina Cafe is for their deserts, period. And that's why I give this place 5 Stars, sorry Paina So, I have eaten once here before and for me the food was eh, I guess it wasn't the worst food but definitely not the greatest food either. I love the environment, decor and the people are always nice however, I was not impressed by their food. Although I have seen that they had brunch and it looks yummy, I've yet to try it. Maybe one day If you LOVE Hawaiian deserts like I do? LoL. (And if you never tried them? What are you waiting for? You're missing out man! Haha) you should definitely try Ono Sweetz deserts (check their instagram @onosweetz) Her cakes and deserts are beautiful and soooooo delicious. I absolutely LOVE their tartes. You can buy tartes individually for I believe $1.40 a piece, 6pk for $8 and a 12pk for $15 and you can mix the flavors, so you're able to try each of them. Today I got a 6pk with Haupia [coconut chocolate],Chocolate Macadamia, Paradise[Passion fruit] and my favorite Ube. Yummy! They have different deserts to choose from. Tartes[comes in different flavors], ube rolls[comes in different flavors], Mango/Haupia Bars, flavored Cakes like Passion fruit, Haupia Pie parfaits and many more. Just keep in mind that some of the deserts do change, so you may not see certain ones twice. But definitely check out the deserts. Like I said, food was okay. I wish they upped their food game b/c they can do so much more!
