  • Recently, my grandchildren and their parents visited. In two weeks I had two bad experiences buying products in the Whole Foods store in Tempe. I bought a Nordic brand gummy worms bottle and found the product inside to be hard and dehydrated. Secondly and most recently, my grandson bought a bottle of their Organic Evolution orange juice and less then half and hour consuming it, had a bad stomach cramp and vomited. We are extremely disappointed not only by the quality control of their products but the lais·sez-faire attitude of their assistant manager with whom I spoke. This manager sounded like he was skeptical of my complaints (mind you, I had to return the Nordic gummy bears and take time to make a phone call on the Orange juice) and did not even offer a sincere apology. No follow-up whether my five year old grandson was well after vomiting and stomach cramps! Although my family are discerning health food shoppers, and we go to wholefoods almost twice weekly, I shall,be looking forward to changing shopping destination for my marketing basket. Beware of their products....what was reported in the news recently about their buying practices of sub quality might just be reason enough to doubt! Reviews help others learn about great local businesses.
