  • Sun is an amazing lady - loud, friendly, and seems to have a little too much makeup at times. At $21+tip it's a little pricey for haircuts in Asian parts of most cities, but I come here regularly as this really is the best place I have found and well worth it. That price includes her washing your hair afterward which my car has been very thankful for, and the gel which only seems to make me more self-conscious. It's usually not too busy, but she does accept appointments. Otherwise, you could visit Han Kabob, Map of Thailand, or Koko Bakery next door while waiting. She is efficient, but does take the time to do it right and make sure you're happy. During which, expect to engage in a conversation about her life (which really is quite interesting) and listen to her lament that the referral of customers from her establishment to the restaurants nearby is only one-way. P.S. If you are an Asian guy, you may be asked some combination of 1) if you are Korean 2) if you are studying to be a doctor 3) if you are single.
