  • Wow! What a great transit system. Where I'm from, the city breeds the bus and train system.. so for this available was clutch, especially since we stayed at the end of the strip at the Stratosphere. $7 got you a 24 hour pass which I may have squeezed an extra ride out of one of the tickets.. ehmm but then still had to buy other tickets too. $5 is 2 hours which I think has to be a joke. I had wished perhaps we looked better into it and purchased an actual weekend pass or a multiple day pass. I'm not sure how that would even work or if it would buy maybe something I'd look into for a future trip. It runs 24-7 and the drivers were great. It is a 2 level bus and of course, no standing on the stairs while the bus is in motion. People enter from the front and exit from the back, get it right; cause it totally makes sense that way. Lots of seats and some face others awkwardly haha oh and some standing room, and please get up for your elders please that aggravates me and even people that just look like they're struggling. I mean, I can balance on a train reading a book without holding on, maybe that's just me. Must be my experience with a bus/train system BUT the rule of thumb is if you wouldn't want your Nina standing on a moving vehicle don't let someone else's. It was so weird to be in motion and no pot holes! That was great, I bet down there they don't really know what those are, the roads were so flat and it was such a smooth ride. So between each stop is maybe almost a half mile from one another, supposedly it comes every 15-20 but it really depends on the time of day I think. At night longer and at that rate unless your feet are killing it might make more sense to walk versus paying for a ticket if you haven't done so already.
