  • Got a $4,500 estimate for head gaskets, broken transmission mount, struts, sway bar, and belts. Took it to my mechanic and only sway bar bushings and ac belt needed replacement . The seepage on the head gaskets was small and from a leaking coolant hose connection. The transmission mount was tearing but not broken as they wrote. The struts were not seeping and were very stiff.
