Was not what I was expecting. I know you shouldn't put expectations on anything but I really wanted to try her restaurant because of her!
First off, this place is beautifully decorated. You are welcomed by a large hostess area and there is even a photo booth to the left of the hostess stand to capture your experience.
We arrived for dinner around 5:45pm on Saturday and they had a 2 piece band playing top 40 hits. Was a really cool vibe.
Now let's get to why I only gave this place 3 stars. Service was incredibly snooty and slow. Our server was not personable at all. We did not even get a table touch from the manager. When you check in on Yelp you either get a splash of prosecco or a cookie plate for the table. When I asked what the cookie plate included I couldn't even get an answer.
We ordered the small cheese plate off the antipasti menu and that was yummy but you can't really mess up a cheese plate.
We tried the lamb, risotto and ravioli and all were flavorless. Felt like I was eating cardboard. My son had the rigatoni off the kids menu and he liked it.
Also, enjoyed the tiramisu cheesecake, so pastry was a safe bet as well.
All in all, I'm glad I tried it but will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.
