  • This is a true tobacco shop. I'm making it a point to visit all in Charlotte. So far this place ranks numero UNO! 1 - McCranie's Pipe Shop 2 - Cigars ETC 3 - Tinder Box 4 - One Stop Smoke Shop I still have a good number more to check but, that is the list none the less. This is not in the strip mall but in the parking lot FYI. If you turn left into the shopping center off of park, the store will be on your right. Okay, why is McCranie's number one? First I like the fact that there were NO "bongs". Upon walking in you will see directly ahead the walk in cigar humidor with a good selection of cigars. Prior to entering the humidor there is a table with cigars on special and also sampler boxes. Only spot thus far with Oliva samplers (my fav). The only fault here to me was only offering two styles of Oliva! Though there selection is vast and many would be happy with the choices available. Lots of Padron 1926. Prices are decent as well. The right half of the shop has a large display case with lots of tobacco pipes, and what i mean is the old school Sherlock Holmes style pipe. Along with those, plenty of lighters, torches, humidors, travel cases, and other accessories. The left side of the store has a few couches to relax and smoke with some TV's to watch. The best part of this store is the help! Very friendly and classy. It's rare to have someone approach you smoking a tobacco pipe, thought it was funny at first, but the man knew his trade. He knew exactly what I was looking for and also was able to recommend a few good selections for a friend of mine who was new to cigars. This bar far was the most knowledge filled and upscale tobacco shop I've visited thus far.
