  • I was getting allergy shots before I moved to Phoenix two and a half years ago. I needed to find a new allergist right away because I wanted to continue my treatments. Unfortunately, the first two allergists I found were horrible. Third time was the charm with Dr. Mittel at Arizona Asthma & Allergy Institute. I hate doctors that don't take the time to listen to your symptoms, find out more about your history or care about what you are looking to accomplish. I was surprised that my first visit lasted over 2 hours. Dr. Mittel asked me in-depth about my childhood history with asthma & allergies. I was also impressed that he asked for my input of my course of treatment. He's been treating me for year and a half and I have nothing but positive things to say. Brandy in the allergy lab is top notch! I have a complicated shot regimen and she is always on top of it. She is always smiling, laughing, and engaged with her patients. She runs the clinic efficiently and there is never much of a wait. The offer shots 5 days a week, all day, which is a lot better than most allergy clinics in the Valley.
