  • I came into this establishment to purchase an electronic cigarette. I am a 29 year old United States Veteran. I was at the DMV for 3 hours today getting new veteran plates and updating my Arizona ID to an Arizona Veteran ID. the DMV had punched my old drivers license and printed me out a paper copy with my photo and veteran status clearly labeled on the front. A larger gentleman with slicked back hair refused my business and said he would not sell to me because my ID was considered damaged due to the whole punch. So i walked out to my car to grab the temporary VETERAN ID the state of Arizona issued to me to have as PROOF of identification, and this guy STILL refused to sell to me. This establishment lost all respect in my eyes, if this is how they are going to treat veterans in the state of Arizona. I will not shop at this location, and will spread the word throughout the veteran community not to shop here because they wont sell to you when you are in the process of changing your identification over after you get out of the service. I expect this gentleman behind the counter to be trained better in customer service, my birthdate and everything was clearly visible, he strictly just did not want to serve me. I was disgusted with the total disregard. I really hope this isnt company policy to turn veterans away when they get out of the military and HAVE to get new forms of identification. i will be contacting your corporate headquarters in the days to come. I wanted to add. After I was told they wouldn't accept my business I drove to the Circle K on Osborn and 16t st. They accepted my forms of ID and thanked me for my service. (how it should have been done at your location)
