  • I haven't written a review for a while and this place broke my streak. I live in the condo right behind so I was delighted to see such positive reviews for a place close to home. My first visit - bio gel manicure and pedicure They quoted me $60, which is pretty standard for viet nail salons. It started off pretty good... They gave me a spot to charge my phone so I have music to listen to while I get my toes done. I really liked how they brushed your toes with lime.. not sure what that does exactly but it's a nice little thing they do for you. standard massage, blah blah.. When it came to my manicure, another lady came in and took over and started doing her thing. Mid massage, she got up, put on her jacket, and walked out without saying a word. I sat there confused with my nails not even painted, just filed.. I thought she went for a smoke but after 10 mins, I had to ask where on earth she is... The lady while helping another customer out angrily mentioned she will be with me in a couple mins. Ok- she did an ok job, i got over it when the staff mentioned she also does eye lash extensions. I was delighted so I had to try them out given it's so close to home. Second visit: Eye lash extenstions. I walked in, there's a few people in the salon but it wasn't rammed or anything. the same lady took me in and had me lay down. She came in and worked on me, mid session, she left for 10 minutes.. I laid there wondering where on earth she is.. couldn't open my eyes to look cus there's glue stuck on my eyes.THIS HAPPENED TWICE IN THE SAME SESSION. I started smelling a really strong stench of glue, i asked if she's putting glue on my real lashes.. I've had my lashes continuously done for 2 years straight and never had I ever had a technician putting glue on my real lashes... She also cut the corner of my eye when she tried to get my eyes to open. At the end of the session I asked for a brush to comb out my lashes since it was in 8- different directions. 8 pcs of lashes fell out already and I haven't even left the place yet. I'm very disappointed in Planet nails. I wished they were better given they are so convenient to me. But i;d much rather travel further and pay more than to visit them again.
