Well, when I arrived in Pittsburgh it was apparently graduation time and nearly all the hotels were booked. The only choice would have been $300+ per night and because I didn't know how long it's going to take me to find temporary accommodation I checked in here! I still payed $110/night plus tax of course!
The location is not too bad as you're only a hop away from Fifth Avenue, where most of the buses pass by, be it towards Downtown or in any other direction.
The rooms are quite big, the bed was comfy, but the staff was lazy to say the least! My room got not cleaned in a 3 day stay. Whenever I had a question at the reception, people would move in slow motion, roll their eyes and then give a quick mumbling answer. Not helpful at all.
On the plus side, there's free coffee and tea next to the reception and they do have free WIFI.
If you can't find anything cheaper then this it is acceptable for a night or two (not that it is good value for money).
