  • had my wedding dress altered by Alexandra. Although her prices were higher than other shops nearby, I felt like she would give my dress attention and I would be happy with result. While she did a great job with the hem, I had several other issues with the dress. She took the dress in without taking measurement and it ended up being too tight, although she did take it back out without charging me. The bustle she did looked good, but was done with very delicate string and my entire bustle broke during the reception, causing me to spend precious time during my reception having my aunt try and fix my dress so my train wouldn't be dragging on the ground, rather than enjoying my wedding. The ribbon/belt around the waist that she also had fixed (because it was taken it too much along with the rest of the waist) came unattached before my ceremony even started, and i again had to spend time having someone rush to fix it before my ceremony started. With the amount I was charged (nearly half the price of my dress) I would expect better work.
