Like another reviewer, we ended up at Sensi because our first choice was completely booked. What a happy turn of events! We had one of the best meals of our Las Vegas trip in this hidden Bellagio gem. Visually stunning decor of stone, water, wood and metal, but warm and human scaled at the same time, a quiet atmosphere and an attentive staff makes this a unique restaurant in the Land of Overdone.
Great apps, very fresh oysters served correctly so the wonderful brine could be sipped, inventive salads and two spectacular entrees: my husband's Skuna Bay salmon was perfection (even for a salmon hater like me!) and my ricotta gnocchi - well let's just say I swooned over them. Melting little pillows of deliciousness but with a slightly, crunchy crust on one side where they must have been sauteed a bit. Never had better.
We expressed our delight to the manager who graciously gave us a tour of the special stations that help the chefs prepare such wonderful food. We'll be back for more.
