  • While visiting Vegas I decided to get my first tattoo. The first place I check ed out was at my hotel on the strip - big mistake! They quoted me $400 for what I considered to be a fairly standard piece, and they just overall seemed sketchy. After reading reviews on Yelp, I decided to give Downtown Tattoo a try, and am glad I did. First, this place is very clean and welcoming, not some dark hole in the wall. Second, their prices are much more reasonable; I paid 1/4 what the Strip hotel quoted me. Third, the work looks great, and I experienced no scabbing, lingering pain, or other problems. I would definitely recommend Downtown Tattoo to anyone visiting Vegas who doesn't want to be ripped off but still wants quality work.
