| - This museum is dedicated to the culture and history of the south west. When I first walked in I could tell that it was family friendly, it just gave you this open and genuine feeling. Not to mention the prices were amazing!!! Adults were 12, children were 7, seniors 10, and students 8, those prices are hard to beat for such an amazing museum!
To start off if you're not sure if you would like the museum, go to their website. They have a virtual 360 tour were you can explore the museum as if you were actually there. Pretty cool if you're unsure if you'd like it or not. One thing I found pretty cool is they had a flash flood falling down a 3 story mountain, also a real Gila monster! You can also pan for gold in the history courtyard, and go through the Dutchman's mine.
You never run out of things to look at or do at the museum, it's so fun filled with artifacts and fun things to do it never get old. They have around 58,000 objects, and most are acquired by donations. But come on 58,000? You could be there all day and still not see all of them! I would recommend this museum as a place to bring your family on a Sunday afternoon, to just have fun and spend quality time together. Very much worth the experience.
