  • Yesterday, while I was driving on the freeway, the car in front of me drove over a large rock, and catapulted it into my windshield. It resulted in a quarter sized chip with a few cracks coming out from it. I called Safelite a little after 1 pm to make an appointment for repair. They were able to get me in at 3 pm. I showed up for my appointment and was greeted by a super friendly rep (can't remember his name). We went out to my car so he could check out the damage. He explained to me that I would still be able to see the cracks after the repair, but it would look nothing like it did. After signing off on it, he said it would be about 30 mins. After about 15 mins, to my surprise, he came back in to get me, to let me know he was done! I was super pleased it was that quick. Just like he had informed me, you can still see the cracks, but they are less noticeable, and it looks 50 times better than it did before (Although I still wish it were a little less visible). Plus, I don't have to worry about the cracks spreading. Oh! And the guy even threw in a free can of glass cleaner! I will definitely be back, if I ever need a repair like this again!
