I regret visiting this clinic!!!!!!!!!!! I should of the read previous comments and followed what they said. Their definition of an "office visit" is seeing the doctor for 5 minutes without getting anything out of it.
I scheduled my appointment that was more than two weeks away for a removal of something i had. The scheduling person asked the reason for my visit and i told him exactly what needed to get done. Upon my visit, i was told to fill out my paperwork electronically and towards the end, it asks me to pay my co-pay of $20 (which i did). Afterwards, i was called in by the doctor and right away she explained what it was. RIGHT AFTER, she said she had to get authorization from my insurance in order to proceed with the removal, and to schedule another appointment for two weeks. I WAS SO UPSET . I literally took time out of my busy life to come in to only be told of SOMETHING I ALREADY KNEW (the whole visit was less than 5 five minutes) to come back TWO WEEKS LATER?.
I don't understand why this authorization couldn't have been done when i initially called to schedule the appointment. Their answer: their call center is in Costa Rica, their only job is to schedule and they don't know what procedure needs what type of authorization. WHICH IS NOT MY PROBLEM!!!
The only number i saw online was the call center's number so there's no way to reach the actual people! The only way i was able to talk to their billing department was because a doctor called me to inform me about my next visit.
There are no words to express how annoyed i am
