  • While visiting the area, my boyfriend was in search of a restaurant that served filet mignon poutine. We were recommended Duke & Devines and were not disappointed. This restaurant is in a cute old house converted to an Irish pub/restaurant. Inside it is very cozy. It was pretty quiet when we went mid afternoon in a Saturday. They have a pretty good selection of draft beers. The server recommended a locally brewed IPA which was very good. Food: the onion rings are TO DIE FOR. They look like mini fluffy donuts. By far the best onion rings I've ever had. Loaded mac and cheese (with bacon and jalapeños) was good, but I don't know that I'd order again. My boyfriend loved his filet poutine, I didn't try it but it looked awesome. This place seems like kind of a hidden gem! Prices were reasonable, service and food was great! Would definitely return.
