This place is just meh. What I can't understand about restaurants in Phoenix is that so many of them are super trendy inside and have some sort of a "concept" going on and are super expensive but THE FOOD ISN'T THAT GOOD. Isn't that sort of the point of a restaurant?
Well, Beckett's Table definitely represents this trend. Very nice rustic chic look inside. Friendly service. Food was ok... I liked the bread (that you have to ask for) and our dessert was excellent (coffee creme brûlée). But my meal (sea bass I think) was a little too sweet and somehow bland at the same time (the best part of it was the shaved roots at the bottom). And my husband got the ribs, which were goodish. But neither was worth the around $20 price tag. I guess for me, the trendiness of a restaurant can't make up for mediocre food.
