  • Our tour company uses this hotel as a start and end point for its Canadian Rockies tour. We came in one day early. I selected the room I wanted to stay in prior to my arrival by using the Hilton app. We were able to stay in the same hotel room when our tour officially began. The hotel staff & dining staff are very hospitable. Food is good; Happy Hour from 4p-7p daily. They've got a couple of local Canadian beers available. Try the Kokanee if you like wheat ale. The first night we had several appetizers for the five of us to share. Then another time we ordered off the dinner menu. Currently the USD is 1/3 more than CAD so we felt we could spend more $$ since it was 1/3 stronger. On the final night of our tour we returned for an one night stay prior to leaving for the States. Our farewell dinner was a buffet in one of the conference rooms. Great food for 45+ people. There's a free hotel airport shuttle to & from YCC. The hotel sells attraction & public transit tickets. We got discounted discounts to the Calgary Zoo at $25 CAD each, and we also purchased tickets for public transit to go downtown Calgary. $3.30 CAD up to 90 minutes with a bus transfer ticket.
