Another great dinner at Kinka! Was in the area last Friday night and decided to walk in and luckily there was one more space for the three of us. As usual, the place was super busy and loud greetings from the staff as you arrive. We were seated near the back part of the restaurant this time which I much prefer then the last time when we were near the door as the loudness in the front can be a bit too much.
Love the selection of Izakaya food especially the karage (fried chicken) and grilled gindara (black cod). The only thing that they are missing here are the yakitori (skewers). We also got the unagi rice in a stone bowl which was delicious.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had one dish that didn't come for over half a hour and when I told the server, she made sure we got it right away.
