| - Bloody hell!
With my beloved Banana Republic closing two of their (biggest) locations in Chandler and Scottsdale at the same time, I'm now stuck doing most of my in-store shopping at this B-level Banana Kierland location.
I use the term "B-Level" because, based on the inventory, it barely passes as a full-scale Banana Republic. They are admittedly what one employee referred to as a "standard fit" store - at least in terms of the men's department. This means that, aside from dress shirts, they don't really offer much in terms of the BR Slim/Grant fits. As a result, I either need to gain a bunch of weight, or simply transfer most of my shopping to their online website. To make matters worse, the employees just all seem kind of "dead."
One girl denied a couple of my returns that were understandably outside of their policy restrictions, but did so in a way that I felt like I had specifically been talked about behind closed doors, blacklisted, and under some kind of weird surveillance. The approach to a longtime customer for over a decade was so bizarre and unnecessary that I no longer feel comfortable shopping inside the store.
In the end, I'd suggest just buying everything online and avoiding their stores entirely.
