  • The online photos of their rooms really didn't excite me; I was even feeling a little bummed that I had to stay here for the conference we were attending. To my surprise the hotel ended up exceeding my expectations! While this hotel is not on the main strip it's just a short 10 minute walk on Flamingo Road to reach the big strip hotels on Las Vegas Boulevard like Flamingo, Linq, Cosmopolitan, Cesar's, etc. They offered a handful of amenities that I enjoyed. -The free WiFi was awesome- I had a full signal the entire time and it worked everywhere on the property. -The pool was open (this was very exciting considering it was the first week of March and many other hotel pools in town are closed)! It was large and well maintained and had very comfortable, padded reclining lounge chairs. There is also a hot tub, both open until 10pm, and even a cocktail waitress that delivers food and drinks, which were surprisingly affordable for Las Vegas. -The fitness center is free with a great selection of equipment. The gym does not have a locker room or shower though. Our room was huge! We stayed in the executive double suite which had two double beds, a sofa, small arm chair, small round kitchen table, refrigerator, coffee maker, ironing board, bathtub, and separate stand up shower. Staying on the strip is really fun, but for a more affordable, nearby alternative, Tuscany is an excellent choice! Just a tip: LADIES, you may want to bring your own hairdryer. The dryer mounted to the walls are very small and old. This particular model only had a thin grate covering the fan on the back, rather than an actual protective grille that modern hair dryers have. After 5 seconds of use it sucked an enormous amount of my hair into the fan and I had a no choice but to cut it out. :(
