| - Most Recent Update:
In light of recent events, I have updated my rating to 3 stars (more like 2.5). I previously mentioned having trouble with the finance department and their inability to resolve my issue. After hearing my plea (via Internat) Noah has managed to fix the issue and everything is resolved. He called daily and updated me with the status of the problem. He explained what was going on and who was meeting with who (the General Manager). After several days, everything was righted and as a result, I had to update my ratings to commend them (at the Finance Department) for their help and efforts. Noah did a good job.
Update:
Noah finally picked up after months of calling. How did he respond? "I don't deal with that." After explaining to him that that was what he said months ago, and after he himself realized there was an problem with the misinformation given from one of the finance officers there, he'd help. "I'll call the bank when I get back to work, my day off is tomorrow. I'll let you know in two days." It's been months and now, I've been told that he never called the bank, he's not going to call the bank unless we're there, which we initially were. I've been strung along for so long these past few months, I am upset at what they call an honest day's work.

I feel like the only GOOD thing about Nissan at this particular location is Brian, one of the sales rep. Everything else on the other hand, is terrible.
I am no stranger to new cars, I've traded for and purchased several over the last few years.
Let me first tell you about the quality of the car. I got a Nissan Versa (sedan) because as a student, the premium gas for an Acura TL was simply too much to afford. I opted for better gas mileage over looks. Within the first couple months, one of my tires popped. A couple of months ago, I ran into some acceleration problems on the highway. Yes, highway. I was driving at 75 mph when all of nowhere, the RPM was increasing to no end. Basically, any speed over 15mph would be at 3x1000 rpm. I made an appointment to fix this issue and explained it in detail. When I came in, they merely stated I was in for an oil change, trying to avoid the issue. After I explained in detail again, they said: we'll try, but if we can produce the issue, then, we don't know if it's true. A few days before the acceleration problem, as I was to school, my car started making these terribly loud noises and shaking violently. I pulled over and called my friend out to help me. He basically told me that the washers/nuts/bolts underneath my car were BURNT off. He fixed it using some random nuts/bolts he had spare.
This is a brand new 2013 Nissan Versa, and in short time I've had it, nothing but problems.
Let me tell you about my sister's 2013 Sentra. She also experienced the same acceleration issue. Just last week, two of her back tires popped while she was driving to the highway. This panel by the driver's seat fell off in the first two weeks she bought the car. When she took it in to get it fixed, it only took two weeks before it came off again.
I will now tell you about the Finance department, particularly Noah, one of the reps there. I came to him with some trouble about credit for a family member. After waiting for such a long time and being forgotten (he claimed he didn't see us there sitting right in front of his office) in the waiting room for hours. He told us that his day off was tomorrow, and that within two days, he'd call us back with his insight on the matter. Fast forward three months or so and I haven't heard a reply. I have called in at least thirty forty times requesting to speak to him, only to be sent to a voicemail. I left a voicemail each time, leaving my name and number, and it has gone unanswered.
In regards to other sales rep at this Nissan location, my family member that came in to purchase a car was treated with lack of professionalism when he/she came in and exposed the sales rep for trying to trick him/her. After many email correspondence between the internet sales rep and this family member, they suddenly increased the price and game the same discount (same one we were promised) and called it a deal. The sales rep in question, wrote a taunting email to this family member to 'lament' that the sales didn't go through because of credit issues (which Noah from the finance department has yet to clear up).
I will be trying my best to get rid of these cars as soon as possible. I'd rather go to Toyota at the autoplex. Despite not having the sporty 'cool' cars Nissan has, the respect and the car you receive there is well worth it. I don't think Nissan cars can hold up in an accident at this point, with everything falling off and malfunctioning at the moment. Why bet your life on a poorly made car?
