| - Unique atmosphere, inventive drinks, terrible service. I've been here on a few occasions, and every time it has been worse than the time before. The first time we came, they had just opened. Waited 20+ minutes for drinks at the bar after being consistently ignored by a visibly drunk bartender. The drinks we had were delicious, however, so I wanted to give them a second chance to wow me with their service.
Went back a few months later only to be met with similar problems. Someone in my party wasn't as adventurous with their cocktails as I am, and ordered a bourbon and soda only to be told (by the same bartender from last time, still intoxicated) that "we don't have that." I'm sorry, what? The bartender offered to make him "something he'd like," but refused to tell him what was in the drink! So instead of a bourbon and soda, my friend was charged for an expensive cocktail that he didn't even want, and ended up not liking.
I want to like this place so badly, but I just can't give it a good review. The norse mythology drinks are fun, but are not for everyone. If you can't make simple drinks that appeal to the average consumer, your business is not going to last. No one in my group has any interest in coming back here. I'm highly disappointed, especially since I had such high hopes before they opened.
