  • On a recommendation, I called A/C Hero (then Mr. Freon) last summer to fix my AC unit which had stopped working. I was terrified that my 26 year old unit had finally gone kaput, or that I'd be taking to the cleaners by unscrupulous salesmen. Instead, Mr. Freon simply replaced the thermostat with something else and gave me a bill that made me cry with tears of joy. My air worked beautifully!!! So i didn't hesitate to call him again to get a pre-summer tune-up and to clean my coils. He was on time for both visits, very professional, honest, and explained everything he did and answered all my questions. I highly recommended A/C Hero.
