First time to the salon a few weeks back, and the front desk was so nice as I had to change my time quite close to my appointment date.
I asked for Maple to cut my hair, and he was quite honest with what my trim should be like, and asked how I normally do my hair. And I appreciated that. He asked me whether I normally have bangs, to get a good feel of what I wanted. I haven't had other salons ask me that before.
One thing though, when I was getting my hair washed, my head didn't get 'itched' (like with nails) as salons normally would. Instead I felt like the person was using his knuckles. Which to me was like having an itch that couldn't be scratched.
I definitely would be going back again, as I always want to go somewhere twice before making a sound judgement of the place. I will be back.
Oh yea, interior wise, it definitely has a more rustic feel, hipster. Also they provide tea when you sit down (which I never got to drink cause Maple was so quick).
