| - This review is on the purchase process, specifically the finance department and their pushing add-nos on the customer by blatantly lying. I purchased a 2016 Golf R from them in December 2015. I like the car, not much buyers remorse, aside from some minor VW expected gremlins. The reason I am finally writing this review is because I moved and am living in Virginia, and needed to get my regular maintenance service. When I bought the car, I was offered the extended care plan and shown how it was a value, as it gave me three services for the cost of two. A simple oil change and regular maintainance on a VW can run almost $200, so it was a good price. I asked if I had to go to Larry Miller to take advantage of the care plan, and was assured that I would be covered anyway. So now I am in Virginia, and I find out that "covered" means that if I don't go to Larry Miller, I will have to file paperwork with the "Total Care Auto" company, and they will end me a check for $65. Of course, I just paid $185 for service today. Essentially, I am making up the difference in "savings" and the only way to break even is to take the car back to Arizona for service, a HIGHLY unlikely event.
In short, avoid Larry H Miller, and their dishonest extra coverage. I regret ever shopping there, and if i move back to Arizona, I would never go back.
