I can't say enough about my unexpected experience at HonorHealth Osborn. As an employee, you always want to think that your organization treats their patients and families well. I got to experience that service first hand through the emergency department when I suddenly became ill and in pain in early May (2017). My daughter brought me to the ER at Osborn and from the time I checked in I was treated like I was a family member. My wait wasn't too bad, only about an hour because they were waiting on a bed in the ER. Within a couple of hours of being admitted to the ER I was headed to surgery for acute appendicitis. Dr. Hu (my fav trauma doc) and Dr. Crooks were awesome! Everyone that I came in contact with from ER physicians to the nursing staff on the second floor (observation) was fantastic. The only complaint I have was with the ER nurse that kept arguing that I didn't have appendicitis and I would be sent home. That was a bit irritating because the physician was standing right there telling me otherwise. She was pretty unprofessional. Other than that my experience was the best ever! My anesthesiologist made sure to listen to my concerns about previous experiences and made sure I did well. That was the easiest time I had with anesthesia ever! I wish I could remember everyone's names that I was in contact with, but due to the haze from morphine and surgery, I only remember a few and am not clear on the rest. Diedre on 2...You rock!
I think we need private rooms though.....my roommate was really annoying! LOL
