  • THE most unprofessional owner I have ever come across. Before today, I had brought my shih-tzu in about 4 times, and I was satisfied with their work. The actual groomers here are understanding of what you want and really do a great job. The downfall to this place is their owner who is shockingly unprofessional. My dog's appointment was at 8 am, I was there at 8 am promptly. Each time I ask how long they expect to finish, and they always say about 2 hours. Now, there have been times where it has taken a bit longer than 2 hours, but when 3 and a half hours later pass by and I still have not heard back, I became extremely concerned. I called them and asked what the status was, and the owner responds with "uhhh he's been ready, they must have forgot to call you I guess? He's ready though, you can come get him" Umm ok? Not apologetic on the phone whatsoever, I'm annoyed but whatever I was just happy to pick him up. What REALLY threw me for a loop is when I get there and no one apologizes for the missed call, it's not even mentioned. So I ask what time my dog was ready and I get "IDK, I wasn't working on him." Now I'm pissed. As the OWNER, you should always acknowledge a misunderstanding or a mistake. Mind you, I wasn't even going to make it a big deal because I figured they would acknowledge the error. Then she goes "it's not like he's being tortured." Are you kidding me?! It's not about being tortured! He's a dog, of course he doesn't enjoy being at the groomers for 4 HOURS waiting on his owner!! How ignorant can you be? So I respond with "It's not about being tortured, he doesn't enjoy being at the groomers to begin with. This entire time no one noticed a dog just waiting around and not once wondered where his owner was? Her response "Ok, don't bring him back!" This lady is YELLING at this point, calling ME an unprofessional client for being the least bit upset that they forgot to call me. Completely and utterly unprofessional, I still can't believe it. I'm the customer who has the right to be upset, not once did I swear or begin yelling. I simply made it understood that I didn't appreciate the error. Had she simply said "I'm sorry about that, we'll make sure it doesn't happen again." Guess what, I would still come back and tip them the 30% I ALWAYS do. But her go to is yelling "don't bring him back" and goes off on a tangent, how dare you? I will never recommend this place, I will never return, and I can't imagine this owner ever being truly successful because if you ever happen to mention even the slightest tinge of dissatisfaction, she'll tell you not to come back. Pretty pathetic excuse of a business owner.
