  • The fact that the room didn't have a microwave or fridge was disappointing. I've paid less for rooms with more. I'm also not a fan of the smoke filled lobby. Being from Maryland, I'm use to non-smoking facilities. The smoky atmosphere really irritated my eyes, but that is my fault for not investigating this hotel and the surrounding Vegas hotels prior to booking. The carpet in our room was also dirty and dated. I was told by a friend that this was a good place to stay. I guess I asked the wrong questions. The resturants are great. There's a 24 hr Friday's which my husband and I visited twice, as well as a Steakhouse, Asian resturants, a Subway restaurant, and a few others that we didn't get a chance to visit. Overall, I would not stay at Gold Coast again. While in Vegas, I had the opportunity to visit other hotels and casinos, and I was upset that we didn't book elsewhere. I'm not even sure I would visit Vegas again honestly, but if I did, this hotel will not be where I would stay.
