Man.... this hurts me. I grew up on these guys. I got turned into an R&B fanatic because of these guys. I would bet money I was conceived through the influence of these guys. It's real. So to give anything less than 5 stars is wild sauce, but I gotta be honest. This could have been a MUCH better experience. But I'm gonna go with 2 stars this time. :(
Starts off with a bang. They hit you with a couple of their classics and all women in close proximity settle in for the ride. Even some of the men around me. I think they play to the audience really well, I was impressed by their crowd work. Then, things take a turn.
Nature of Las Vegas... people drink alcohol. They get drunk. And when they get drunk, they get loud. Where an issue arose out of this was when the supporting staff was very inactive regarding guest issues. On our side specifically there was a drunk woman shouting and heckling them for a while (even to the point where one of the singers said "that's enough, lady" at one point and no one in the staff stepped in to do anything about it. It was disrupting the whole left half of the audience which included myself and my date who sadly didn't even get the opportunity to enjoy the show. We both walked out completely unhappy as an hour of our show was a drunk woman screaming about how they haven't even been singing Boyz 2 Men songs for the past hour which is what she paid for (which in fairness, was sadly true) we specifically came with the excitement of hearing their songs we grew up to and it felt like maybe 40% of this show was Boyz 2 Men singing their music, 40% them singing other people's music for what felt like a solid hour straight, then the other 20% them talking. She was drunk and upset about it but not wrong. No one on our side was standing in excitement anymore after this staff let this belligerent woman make her own rules and spoil the fun for everybody.
It was unfair to all of the guests around me who were frowning alongside us for easily the last half of the experience.
