  • My sister and I scheduled apps. for pedicures at Shine, she had been there several times and loved it, especially the hot stone massage. We arrived promptly at the time of our appts. , I was taken right away and she had to wait 20 minutes. They were overbooked. I had Kenny, he was unattentive, nipped my skin and was constantly distracted by other customers walking in. On a positive note, my polish was great. I sat while my sister finished, enjoying the massage chair for an extra 20 minutes. Neither one of us received a hot stone massage, which is clearly advertised and she has always had in previous visits. We both sat drying for at least another 15 minutes, when I touched my nails they were not yet dry. Kenny put on another top coat and back under the dryer for another 15 minutes, still not dry. He must have used the wrong base or top coat. By now we are in the salon for close to 2hours!!! The young man who did my sisters pedicure offered to redo my polish, which was perfect and dried in less then15 minutes. We were there for2 1/2 hours total, unexcuseable for a pedicure appointment. To be fair, I emailed Shine right away and said I would hold off on a review until they replied to my concerns, they never replied. It is unfortunate, neither my sister or I will EVER go back. She loved it the first several times, but said this time the people were new, and it was unprofessional. Kenny for sure, needs more training and to be "present"in his work. This salon is inconsistent, I hope they step it up or they will lose repeat business.
