  • Your pet's health care is more in your own hands than your own... which we all know is really in our own hands at this point. There are a plethora of veterinary clinics to see, and doctors/ treatments to choose from, and we can switch vets like we switch nail technicians... or can we...? Dr Stefanatos is truly one of a kind. A real healer, and care giver. A true friend of animals. I first encountered Dr S. Because my 9 year old Chihuahua mix was diagnosed at another vet with a degenerative disk disease. The treatment at that vet was to manage his pain with prescription medication until his end of life. Well we all know, if the spine wouldn't kill him, the meds would cripple his liver or something. So with this in mind I took him to Dr S. Who specializes in not only holistic but traditional medicine, to get him on an alternative treatment for pain management. Not only did she help him that very day, but he's been better and better every day for years since we've been following a normal diet and chiropractic adjustment. It was not just pain management, but healing as well. I also have a 13 year old Chihuahua with arthritis who sees Dr S. For regular wellness checkups and adjustments, and I can say with confidence that he's in good hands of someone who values his life as if he were a human. Both my elderly dogs are in the best health and happiness because of Dr S. And I hope more vets learn from her to not just push medication, but to listen and heal the actual problem.
