Come for the atmosphere. Try to enjoy the mediocre food.
The "front row" concept is what makes this Friday's worth checking out at least once. Take TGIFriday's. Put it in a major league baseball stadium. You have now created the one Friday's that I am willing to eat at. The food menu is a smaller selection of the typical family-friendly chain bar fare that you'd expect from any Friday's location, but there still is the large selection of adult beverages that is the reason your parents put up with taking you out to Friday's when you were a kid. The reason anyone would come to this location in downtown Phoenix is simple. It's in the ballpark.
You can eat at Friday's Front Row at anytime. On game day, tickets are available to get a table on the patio and watch the D-backs play. I believe a voucher for food is included in the price of the ticket. Don't want to pay? You can still eat and drink at the bar, where there is the benefit of paying normal prices for better food than what's served inside Chase Field, and you may still have some sort of view of the game.
