| - Ah, the house of the pig. Had this place bookmarked for years after all of the notoriety surrounding it. Ended up getting a last-second reservation around 10 on a Friday. Felt very lucky.
Had the cromesquis (small fried foie gras conduits)-- which were delicious, the foie gras burger, cooked medium rare, which was the most flavorful burger I've ever had. The foie gras pizza-- delicious, fatty, and so greasy, loved it, as well as the duck fat fries.
Opted to skip the duck in a can (just didn't find it exciting), but we left thoroughly satisfied. Casual, friendly, fast service with delicious food that wasn't super expensive. I felt like I had a very expensive meal but split between two of us it was $43 CAD each after tax and tip.
You should check it out if in town-- only note that the bar is NOT open seating on the weekends.
