  • This is not my first time to RA, but probably my last. Hands down the worst dinner experience of my week long trip to Scottsdale. The food itself was okay. About what you'd expect for sushi in the middle of the desert. I admit that this is the first sushi establishment that I've been to that served lettuce in their "premium rolls." What sucks here is the service. We arrived on a night when half the building was emptied and they asked if we had a reservation. When the response was no, we waited....and waited. It was amazing to see three employees at the host table not helping any customers (other than the one on the phone). One poor young lady just wanted her phone ordered food for which she paid for and....you guessed it! Waited. With half an empty facility, what was everyone waiting for??? Once we finally got a table, the waitress was nice. Didn't change the fact that she seldom checked on us, which was too bad. We were ready to order more cocktails. In the end, we just wanted out! It's not often I question how much tip to leave, but this was the exception...
