| - This hotel has the service of a nice resort in Hawaii, but the decor of Motel 6 in Santana ese. It's like a *hole on the strip*, except it's away from the strip located in downtown near the shady bus stop. Also, their "top shelf" is Johnnie Walker red and Raspberry Popov.
You get the picture right? Well, God bless this spot anyway because it truly is the spot that Hawaiian natives come for a good time. You immediately sense the laid back vibe as if you were in Hawaii. It's so laid back that when I accidentally crossed the ropes behind the dealers, a nice lady pitboss gently redirected me. If this happened at Bellagio, Ray Lewis & Troy Polamalu would've come tackling lil ole me.
I think the most beautiful thing about this spot is seeing my BF's dad's face light like I've never seen before. He suddenly becomes a 21 year old in a 70 something body, flirting with the dealers, going All In, & schooling the college kids in Black Jack. Hehe point being? Everything is so cheap, allowing sr. citizens to gamble and have a good time. I mean, this is the only location where your elderly parents are up til 3 a.m., and you're in bed by 11 pm. For once, families/elderly run Las Vegas....a nice break from douchebag/hos central on the strip.
