| - I am so sorry to be writing a two star review.
We walked in for two pedicures on a Sunday afternoon and they were able to get us in within a half our, which was a positive. Once the pedicure began I asked them not to cut my cuticles, only to push them back. This is very important to me since cutting the cuticle can cause infection. he nodded and smiled but then began cutting my cuticles. I asked him once again to push them back only, and he nodded and continued to cut my cuticles.
The entire process took two hours. I'm all for indulging yourself, but that's just too long for a pedicure. On the bright side, the paraffin wax treatment was not too hot like I have experienced at other salons, but I would call that an expectation, not a positive.
The entire time they said not one word to us, but chattered back and forth to each other in another language. I really like when my pedicurist talks to me, so this made me uncomfortable.
When it came time for the top coat, the one they used completely changed the color of my pedicure, so I told them to skip the top coat. I was getting a robin egg blue polish and the top coat must have been contaminated by red polish because it caused my color to turn pinkish. He nodded and smiled and continued to put the top coat on, so I ended up with a different color than what I wanted.
It was nice that they were open on a Sunday, and the price was affordable at $31 per pedicure, but I won't be back.
