After countless dinners composed of only sushi/sashimi at Sen, I'm happy to report that the hot side of this kitchen is equally fantastic. The soft-shell crab special; the black cod marinated in soy; the pan-fried yellowtail; and the grilled calamari atop roasted shisito peppers.... HEAVEN. Of course, you can't resist Chef Shinji's creations and I specially asked for their Japanese Snapper done two ways (LOVE the red wine reduction). For the first time, I had one of their specialty rolls (tuna and shrimp with an excellent curry sauce on top) and was floored. Bravo, Sen, for another excellent meal.
