Ikea really needs to do something about their home delivery system. Normally their customer service is pretty good, but when it comes to home delivery it is *appalling*!.
We took delivery on almost a full house worth of cabinetry a couple of months ago, and validated against the list that the delivery guys had. Little did we know that the driver's list didn't fully match our order. We didn't realize this until it came time to install everything, which was past their 10 day validation window.
So Ikea Pittsburgh's solution? "You're going to have to re-buy everything that we didn't deliver. Oh, to help you out, we'll SPLIT the delivery fees with you."
Beware when shopping at Ikea Pittsburgh, out of towners!
