  • I had the most difficult time obtaining sweet brown rice from local grocery stores in Vegas (from Ranch 99, Seafood City and other ethnic grocery stores). I'm Filipino and grew up eating white jasmine rice. During my adult years, as a healthier alternative, I have since switched to brown jasmine rice which is not difficult to obtain. However, when it came to "sweet rice" recipes, after an in-depth search from local markets/grocers, I am pleased to have found International Marketplace! They have an immense selection of international ingredients and cooking supplies. Very clean and organized store. Plus, the staff are very helpful and friendly. =)
