I dined at my old college haunt this past March. Enjoyable experience, mostly because I can bring my sweet dog. My husband and I enjoyed our meal which came to $28.50 plus $5.00 tip. Fast forward to last week. I FINALLY got around to reconciling my bank account and realized (unbeknownst to me) that Casey Moore's charged my debit card $62.00. $28.50+$5.00 +$28.50=$62.00. What????!!!!! I know it's been over 6 months, but still... who gets a $33.50 tip on a $28.50 meal? I realize it was probably an honest mistake, and I realize that I should have caught the error in March. But as a fellow small business owner (retail/restaurant) I had fallen behind in my accounting duties. I still had the receipt and the bank statement which I was quite willing to show them in order to have the error corrected. I spoke with one of the owners and she was so gracious. Today I received a check in the mail to correct the error. Ask me what I ate at Casey Moores. Ask me how it tasted. I couldn't tell you. But what I can tell you is that the owner made me happy, realized the mistake, made me whole and was extremely nice and apologetic for it. And that I will remember FOREVER! Thank you Patricia, I sure appreciate the customer service and integrity!
