  • My husband and I have been buying our running shoes from Active Runner for the past several years. I am no serious athlete - just a Mom of three, trying real hard to stay relatively healthy (without hurting myself) and not get too fat, so I can take good care of my family. I appreciate that the staff at Active Runner treat me as if I'm as important as an athlete - taking time to ask questions about my running habits, assessing my shoe and gait, to fit me with a great shoe. I like that I can donate my old shoes for charity, there at the store, and that the store sponsors a running club (though I've never participated - it's a nice, community thought!). I only had one problem with a pair of shoes - they felt fine in the store, but not quite right after I ran in them several times. Unfortunately, when I took them back, the owner was not working so I was out of luck, and just ended up buying a different pair and donating the like new ones. Totally my fault, I'm sure if I had not been lazy and followed up later, there would have been a different outcome. But, I had a coupon, so I figured I'd just get a new pair while I was there and move on. Will totally return when this pair wears out for new sneaks!
