| - I've only been living here for less than a month with 2 roommates. SO far - it hasn't been too bad. Sure there were some things that needed fixing / changes, but nothing too dramatic. The staff members are friendly and get what you need done as quickly as possible. Especially Melissa and Santana, as I've worked with them quite a few times. Maintenance is quite friendly as well and explain things throughly to you when needed. It's not until a vendor / third party comes where you'd see a switch up in personality than you're use to from Carlyle staff. We live right near the pool, one of the leasing offices, and golf course so certainly our scenery is very beautiful and surprisingly quiet. For the most part the apartment complex is well kept. When I say 'most part', the negative of it is that the trash bins are always overflowing with trash. Yes, I saw this even when originally viewing the apartments for the first time, but that was the least of my worries and even though it still is, I figured I'd bring it up since I feel it should be addressed for sanitation purposes and the appearance of the apartment complex. Second negative is that you only get 1 reserved parking, regardless how many people living in your apartment have a vehicle. Which that rule I'm use to, but when you have to drive all the way to the back of the community to find a parking space, that's kind of ridiculous. The open spots are taken early morning / around 4-5PM when everyone gets off of work. Therefore 8/10 you park really far from your apartment. Third complaint - the office is absolutely disorganized when it comes to you getting packages from the front office. They'll tell you multiple times that supposedly the post office says 'delivered' prior to it actually being delivered vs them looking harder through each box. This has happened multiple times & it has got to the point where they catch attitudes because you correct them when they're wrong & you have to let them know 'NO, I'm not leaving the office until you find my package' type of situation...then all of a sudden it magically appears. I HIGHLY recommend you having your packages either kept at the post office for pickup or having signed tracking on everything. Lastly, my 4th complaint is the fact that the AC unit in our apartment has not been working properly since we moved in and we've been getting told far too many excuses of why it's so hot (ex: your apt faces the West side so the sun comes in more therefore just hang blinds, just close the vents in your bathrooms / rooms that you don't use frequently and the air will be pushed into the other rooms, the unit just needed a charge). Which absolutely none have worked thus far and living in AZ it is highly uncomfortable to have to sweat all night / day in your own home when your AC is on low 70s all day. Other than that, I can say yes I possibly would refer a friend here, not guaranteed though. If anything else comes up, I'll be sure to update my review when my lease is up next year.
