  • Just and FYI regarding my recent experience with Russ Darrow Kia 5/11/2017 11:00 am Saw an for sale ad on Craigslist for 2002 Buick Century Custom -$1797 Called the phone number listed and set up an appointment for an inspection/test drive at 12:30 pm 5/11/2017 12:30 pm Arrived at Russ Darrow Kia - Madison. Was greeted by a salesman. Told him that I made an appointment for an inspection/test drive. Salesman walked me around the used car lot gathering information. He couldn't find the car and asked if there was anything else that I would be interested in. 5/11/2017 12:45 pm Waited in their showroom to talk to the sales manager. Not available the salesperson got an assistant sales manager. He checked and said that during inspection, the car had some safety issues and was unavailable. He took my name and cell number to contact me when the car would be available. 5/11/2017 1:15 pm Left the dealership. 5/11/2017 1:45 pm Went to the dealership web page, saw the vehicle on their site. They had a CarFax available. Downloaded CarFax. Vehicle purchased by Russ Darrow Kia 11/29/2016. Vehicle serviced by Russ Darrow Kia 4/28/2017. 5/11/2017 2:30 pm Called Russ Darrow Kia - Madison to talk to a sales manager. Sales manager I talked with said that he would look into it and give me a call back. 5/12/2017 4:40 pm Called Russ Darrow Kia - Madison and talked to another sales manager. He stated that the car was taken off the lot by an auction house and was unavailable. Craigslist add still marked as available. Dealer web site still has vehicle available. Second sales manager said that others came in to look at the vehicle which wasn't available.
