  • Because do I really need an excuse to visit an ice cream shop? Rolled is the newest ice cream shop to hit Las Vegas, the first of its kind in the valley I believe. It's a novelty place and like everything else, you take it for what it is. Either you like it or move on to the next craze. Is it the best ice cream there is out there? Definitely not. But it's fun, whimsical and it satisfies so that earns stars in my book! First visit was last Wednesday, line was pretty long at about 7 pm but it moved fairly quick so no complaints really. While waiting, it gave us the chance to peruse the menu and catch up on the days events with my hubby. Large is $5.99 and small will set you back $4.99. You first choose your base cream: White, Chocolate, Coffee or Lemon. You pick your add ins, then after that off to the -32 degree flat pan and the show begins. Minutes later your rolled ice cream is ready to be enjoyed. So as not to pollute ourselves with overwhelming choices we decided on their Rolled favorites. Hubby got The Elvis: which has their signature cream, peanut butter and banana. Optional whipped cream added and topped with Nutter Butter cookies, our favorite so far! I had the Banana Nutella, a not to be messed with classic, every bit as good! Good 'ol Cookies and Cream for the little ones. It's not overly creamy so I like it, it gives you the illusion that it might be slightly better for you but I'm sure that's not the case! Hahahaha. Last Friday the weather got me feeling a little blue so hubby dragged my ass here to get some treats. I decided I wanted to try something else and got The S'mores. I wasn't entirely impressed, the chocolate chip didn't mix well so it had an unusual mouthfeel and I couldn't taste the graham crackers so I ended up giving it to the kids and kept the Cinnamon Toast Crunch that was intended for them. Mean mom alert I know lol. I was definitely satisfied with that one, flavor and texture was all there! I'm sure I will find myself visiting more than I should but hey YOLO right? OMG even I cringed on that reference! Lol but really though there isn't anything not to like here, product is worthy and the people are nice. With that said, Yay! I'm a fan.
