  • Be warned about using One Hour Electric. Living in this home 21 years we have used services from ever aspect of home ownership & the least capable & unfair pricing was received from this company. If possible my rating would actually be a minus five. I'm old & getting confused I positioned my circuit breaker switches the opposite direction. I called One Hour Electric & the charge just knocked me off my feet. I doubt the cost for the entire box would not have exceeded the 421 dollar charge for this 10 second job. Actually he first encircled the pricing of 539 on his printed sheet but then acting as though giving me a bargain dropped down one line encircling 421. Completely shocked I declined accepting or signing the bill he had written asking to speak with his supervisor & during our conversation trying to negotiate a decent price he was downright rude from the beginning & for no good reason even saying "you are a real dick" which is far over the line of decency. Just to be rid of them & get that serviceman who appeared so unqualified moving on down the road I offered 300 dollars which was still an exorbitant price. Yet, 300 dollars to reset a row of circuit breakers switches some old man had accidently switched left instead of right? So embarrassed to have made such a simple mistake & be charged so much to correct whoever might be reading this review will be the only ones ever knowing. I know service calls are expensive & I have never before balked on their charges but this one knocked me off my feet. Never again will I panic calling for a service without first getting a recommendation from a friend or a service such as Yelp. My trust in such people is now gone forever, taking advantage of people in their 80's while morally wrong can be profitable. I see several 5 star reviews written for One Hour Electric & they must have been written by close friends or family members.
