  • I have used AutoZone for years until yesterday. I went to the Cave Creak/ Cactus location in need of a battery. I could barely get my car to turn on this morning and when it started I hustled to AutoZone. There I was met by a rude employee who said he could not help me with my battery because it was raining. There was not a drop of water falling from the sky (it had rained prior) so I decided I'd go else where since he was to lazy to help. To make matters worse my car would not start at this point. So I entered the store again to advise the car would not start. The same employee looked at me as if he could care less. Seeing that he did not care about my situation, I asked if I could have some tools to remove the battery. At this time he handed me socket wrenches. Flustered I went outside only to realize socket wrenches were not needed to take the battery off. At this point I thought the employee was trying to mess with me. Come on really! Socket wrenches to take a battery off? I'm not a mechanic but I've never once in my 18 years of owning a car use a socket wrench on a battery. Once again I went I went back inside to ask for the proper tool. Keep in mind there is no rain falling from the sky and this employee is leaning on the counter. I'm thinking he'd be willing to assist at this point... but no! He hands me a adjustable wrench. By now I'm fuming. I decided come hell or high water I was going to get my car started and luckily the car started. I returned the wrench and advised I got my car started but would take my business else where. His rude response was "ok then". Not "I'm sorry", Not "I hope you have a better day" just "okay then" in a snide tone. I hope the manager reads this! How do you leave a person to struggle on their own when they clearly need help. How do you lean on the counter and claim its raining as an excuse... when it is not raining. This guy clearly does not value his job and his piss poor attitude has spoken clear to me. I WILL NEVER GO TO A AUTOZONE AGAIN! By the way AutoZone lost over 125 dollars worth of business on a simple battery swap. Lazy, Rude, Pathetic. Do not go to this location.
